RURAL GEORGIA EXPERIENCES
FORESTRY AND COTTON AT THE GEORGIA NATIONAL FAIR
Georgia's Rural Center has created collaborative partnerships with entities across the state to bring immersive experiences straight from rural Georgia. Rural Georgia is home to the agricultural and forestry industries, and in 2024, you have the opportunity to explore two interactive exhibits. Discover how rural Georgia impacts your everyday life through the cotton and forestry industries.
All media info can be found on this page for the respective exhibits. If you have project or media questions, please contact Becca Turner at becca@owcreatives.co.
EXPERIENCE SEEDLINGS TO SOLUTIONS
Inspired by the Seed to Shirt Experience, this year the Seedlings to Solutions will make its debut at the 2024 Georgia National Fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to journey through the entire life cycle of a tree and how important the forestry industry is to our state. Georgia is the #1 Forestry State in the Nation, and visitors have the opportunity to explore Georgia's working forests on their own while at the 2024 Georgia National Fair in the Georgia Grown Building.
EXPERIENCE SEED TO SHIRT
When visitors step through the doors of the Georgia Grown building at the Fair, visitors will have the opportunity to explore a reimagined space in the center of the building featuring one of Georgia’s top commodities - cotton - for the second year. Through a partnership with Georgia’s Rural Center, the Georgia Department of Agriculture, Georgia Grown, and Magnolia Loom, cotton is being put in the spotlight.
